Training and business consultancy is our major business focus, we are accredited with Agri Seta, Services SETA, ETDP Seta, and the MICT SETA, Elima Consulting is a solutions provider and strategic partner for skills development to the South African and African markets, serving clients in the private and public sectors. We are committed to fundamental transformation driven by skills development building capacity of employees uplifting unemployed youth in communities, touching lives and resultantly delivering real value to our corporate clients as they meet their Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (“B-BBEE”) and Corporate Social Responsibility (“CSR”) targets.
Elima Consulting’s extensive database of facilitators, assessors, moderators, and project managers supports its excellent project delivery capabilities. Vision
- Our clients are able to claim 20 points on Skills Development by supporting (financially sponsoring) learnerships and skill-development programs in a way that meets the 40% minimum requirement.
- Section 12H of the Income Tax Act allows Corporates to claim tax rebates for their support of learners through Learnership Programs.
- Employees that participate in skills development projects become motivated and educated about their fields of work.
According to the client’s SETA needs, further money may be obtained through the Mandatory and Discretionary Grants.
Our Service Offering
SKILLS DEVELOPMENT
In accordance with the B-BBEE Act’s Codes of Good Practice and the Skills Development Act, Elima Consulting provides SETA-accredited learnerships. Successful completion of these programs will grant the learners a certificate of competency, which is supported by the organizations’ accreditation by Agri Seta, ETDP Seta, Services SETA, and the MICT SETA. Both non-impaired and disabled students can have these programs tailored specifically for them.
The following are included in the full-service offering:
- Recruiting learners
- Administrative compliance with regard to learner registration, encompassing attestations, EEA1 forms, medical doctor reports, qualifications, IDs, and CVs.
- Enrollment of learners with the relevant SETA, bolstered by confirmation
- Payroll
- Facilitation (Online or In-person Meetings).
- Evaluations and Certification of Learners.
BURSARY MANAGEMENT SERVICES
Identification of the students, payment processing to the relevant universities, student monitoring and assessment, and client reporting are all included in Elima Consulting bursary management offering. Throughout the learner’s academic journey, management occurs.
LEARNER SUPPORT PROGRAMMES
Learner assistance programs are offered by Elima Consulting to students in Grade 12 to help with exam preparation for subjects including science, technology, math, accounting, and science. Multiple interventions will be used in our suggested method to help the students. These consist of tutorial sessions delivered via a mix of virtual and in-person classes. Each student will receive a tablet containing instructional software and pre-recorded courses as part of the technological support for these learner interventions. The more gentle aspects of these interventions will involve career counseling, study skills development, motivating talks, career tours, and help with college admission and bursary applications.
Elima Consulting has a Level 1 B-BBEE Contribution and a 135% recognition, making it an enabling supplier as per the BBBEE Code of Conduct. This implies that you may claim 1.35 points for empowerment spending for every R1 spent on us.
